Small shop, long memory
We’re not a franchise with a Plantation zip code bolted on. We’re a family that has spent more than twenty years washing and mending rugs, working from our own shop in the city we live in.
Who you’re dealing with
It means the person who quotes your rug is the person who washes it.
When you call (954) 719-5093 you don’t reach a national booking desk — you reach us, at the shop, usually with a rug on the wash floor. The same hands that test your dyes do the serging, run the drying room, and load the van for your delivery. En español, si lo prefiere.
Twenty-plus years of rugs teaches you things no script covers: which tribal dyes go unstable in an instant, why a Chinese sculpted rug needs slower drying, what a previous bad repair looks like from the back. That accumulated judgment is the real service — the washing is just where it shows.
Small enough to care, old enough to know better.
We work by appointment from our shop on NW 16th Court, and most of our week is pickups and deliveries around Plantation, Sunrise, Davie, and Lauderhill. This city has been good to us; returning rugs in better shape than we found them is how we return the favor.
Our word
Why local matters
Because our climate writes its own rules for rug care.
Broward humidity means a rug that isn’t dried to the core will mildew — so we meter-test instead of guessing. Sandy soil means foundations load up with abrasive grit faster than up north — so dry dusting before washing is non-negotiable. Tile floors mean slipping rugs and sweating backings — so we cut proper pads to size at the shop.
A national franchise cleans the same way in Phoenix and Portland. We clean the way this zip code requires, because we’ve watched what two decades of South Florida summers do to wool.
